Guide Map to find Marina Vallarta

If you are coming by taxi, simply tell the driver, “Marina Vallarta, El Faro por favor.” (Marina Vallarta lighthouse please). He will drop you off on Timün street, next to the lighthouse between E & F Docks. Looking at the water, take a left and you will see your boat, Dos Amantes in Slip No. 3.

One side note: Sometimes the taxi driver thinks you want to go to the cruise ship terminal. Try to emphasize “EL FARO”. Repeat it if you need to. If you see huge cruise ships where he stops, you’re in the wrong place. Let him know, “No senor, El Faro, Marina Vallarta por favor.” He’ll take you another mile down the road. If you are coming by bus, you can take the MARINA bus from downtown. Ask the driver, “Diga me El Faro por favor?” (Will you tell me when we are at the lighthouse please?). He will stop on Paseo de la Marina about 200’ north of Timün street. Walk up Timün to the lighthouse and take a left.

The other buses that pass by the marina stay on the main highway and will let you off at PLAZA NEPTUNO. Ask the driver, “Diga me Plaza Neptuno por favor?” He will stop at the intersection of Paseo de la Marina. You will see a life size bronze statue of a humpback whale and her calf. Cross the street (carefully) and walk around Plaza Neptuno to Popa street. Walk to the end and meander to the right around the marina to F Dock.
